Tilting Harbour B&B (formerly Foley’s Place) has been providing Fogo Island visitors with food and lodging for many years. New owner & proprietor Tom Earl first visited Fogo in 2015 (where he worked as a seasonal manager at the Fogo Island Inn). Like so many before him – Tom was bewitched by the beauty and people of Fogo Island so much, he decided to make his home here!
Tom has many years of experience in the hospitality industry and has worked for some of the world’s most renowned chefs, including Susur Lee, Mark McEwan and Fogo Island Inn’s own Murray McDonald! He loves to entertain and (most of all) cook for his guests at the B&B. Favorite dishes include roasted Fogo Island cod, Partridge berry pie, and pretty much anything grilled on his outdoor BBQ…
